LITURGICAL MINISTRIES Youth and adults of our Parish, both male and female, participate as Altar Servers at masses, weddings, funerals and other liturgical celebrations. Extraordinary Ministers Of Holy Communion Specially trained and commissioned parishioners assist the Parish Priests, as Eucharistic Ministers, in the distribution of Holy Communion at all Masses and other celebrations. Candidates are approved by the Pastor, trained by the Diocese, and commissioned by the Pastor. Readers Readers assist with proclaiming the word of God at Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Readers relate scripture in a public, reverent, and articulate manner, thus participating in one of the liturgical needs of the Parish Community. Individual training is offered for all readers. They are also encourage to study good techniques in proclaiming the Word to the congregation. Choir/Music Choir members offer musical support for the congregation, participating in the prayerful singing of songs during the various Masses and other liturgical events. Ushers Ushers facilitate the seating and the distribution of materials during the clebration of Mass. They gather the collections and form the Offertory procession. Altar Care This ministry enhances the celebration of liturgies by decorating the church, altar, and sanctuary to reflect the current liturgical season. These parishioners help to design and/or sew liturgical banners and place them in the Church. PASTORAL MINISTRIES The Bereavement Ministry assists individuals in coping with the death of a loved one and with planning for a funeral. This includes the Resurection Choir which sings at all funeral services. Hispanic Ministry The Hispanic Ministry welcomes and evangelizes our immigrants from Hispanic nations by sharing languages, traditions, and cultures. The Hispanics participate in the Liturgical Ministries, the Pastoral Ministries, the Religious Education Program, and the Advisory Committees of the Parish. Ministry to the Sick Specially trained and commissioned individuals take the Eucharist and consolation to the sick and homebound of the Parish Community. They visit the hospital and neighboring nursing homes. Small Christian Communities Inspired by Gospel values, the St. Vincent dePaul Society leads men and women, who join together to grow spiritual, by offering person to person service to the needy and suffering. To address the needs of the communituy, the Society assists in providing the basic necessities to those in need, and comfort and encouragement for the lonely and the alienated. These parishioners collect and provide food for the needy on a daily basis. They also prepare food baskets during the holiday seasons. Short-term funds for utilities, transportation, and shelter, are also provided Our Lady’s Sodality Knights of Columbus The Knights support the church, along with the parish clergy. This is a fraternal service organization for men who are also involved in service to the community, and charitable, religious, family, and fraternal activities. These are prayer groups that provide opportunities for Bible study, prayer, and the sharing of Christian growth experiences by broadening and deepening the understanding that "Baptism in the Holy Spirit" is the inheritance of all Catholics.

They also serve the Parish Community by offering coffee and doughnuts after some weekend Masses, and by preparing parish receptions for the many special events that occur during the year.
