2009-2010 Registration

Registration forms for Faith Formation classes beginning September, 2009 through May, 2010 are available at the Welcome Desk in the church narthex, in the parish office, at St. Matthew School office (for rising SMCS 2^nd graders) or can be downloaded here.

PLEASE NOTE:

· First Eucharist and Confirmation are two-year processes; a student preparing for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist must attend BOTH 1^st and 2^nd grades, and eighth grade is required in order to be confirmed in 9^th grade.

· A prerequisite for all rising 8^th graders is completion of 6^th and/or 7^th grade religious education.

· The Diocese of Charlotte requires that CATHOLIC SCHOOL students preparing for Reconciliation, Eucharist, or Confirmation do so in their home parish; therefore rising 2^nd graders and rising 9^th graders must be registered in St. Matthew’s Faith Formation program for sacramental preparation.

· A copy of the student’s baptismal certificate is required to enter grades 2 & 9.

· Parents of children ages 3, 4 and 5 are encouraged to register for our Sunday morning Preschool Program during the 9am and 10:45am Masses.

· Classes are available for children grades 4 through adult who have not been baptized, or need to receive First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, or Confirmation.

Registration IN PERSON is preferred for class selection so you are aware of what is available.
