St. Michael the Archangel at 502 West Front Street, Monroe, MI 48161 US - St. Michael Parish Choir

Music is an integral and important part of Catholic worship. At St. Michael the Archangel, the parish choir is comprised of talented adults and high school teens who lead the congregational singing and provide reflective music during weekend, holy day, and funeral liturgies. For most other services, even when the full choir is not present, an individual member of the choir acts as “cantor” and leads the congregation in song.

The parish choir is directed and accompanied by Dr. Ray McLellan, a graduate of the renowned University of Michigan School of Music and an accomplished professional musician.

The choir practices on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm in the church.
