Ushers are charged with "opening the door" to the warmth and holy fellowship in the Spirit of Christ Jesus. Ushers have traditionally been men but women are also encouraged to participate. Ushers are responsible greeting people as they arrive and assist with seating and other practical issues (and the occasional emergency). Ushers also assist with taking the monetary collection, presenting the Gifts, Communion and distributing the bulletins after Mass. If you are committed to Christ and you are personable, friendly, dependable and interested in serving the Parish during holy celebrations, you should be an Usher! Plan on serving once per month and meeting quarterly for renewal and friendship. Contact the Parish Office at 241-8645 for more information.
