Prayer Shawl Ministry Updates
Dear Prayer Shawl Ministry Members,
We would like to inform you of updates to our ministry. The collection dates for prayer shawls have been revised. There will only be two collection dates a year and they will take place in September and March. The masses blessing the collected shawls will be in October and April. Please see the updated meeting time and date schedule for these changes.
We are asking for volunteers to assist will making fleece blankets with the St. Michael’s 6th grade class and the St. Michael’s Youth Group. No experience in creating these blankets is needed. The dates for creating the fleece blankets with the 6th grade class is Friday December 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and on Sunday January 9th with the Youth Group from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please contact Cindy Prusaitis at 734-241-7433 if you are able to participate in assisting with either of these projects.
As a reminder, our next meeting date Thursday December 9th from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the Archangel Room. There will be a brief 10-minute meeting and then the remainder of the time will be for fellowship and working on prayer shawls.
