If you are new to the area, let us give you a little tour of Old Towne Woodstock. Woodstock was incorporated more than 100 years ago, but in the last five years Old Town Woodstock has been revitalized and had a face lift. Old Town Woodstock is located approximately 2 miles from the intersection of Highway 92  and Highway 5 or 1 mile from Exit 8 off of I-575.

The Train Depot has been restored and is used for community events. A city park was built across from the Depot. It is host to many community events, including a big Fourth of July celebration and free concerts in the summer. New stores have opened including antique and gift shops, a tea room, art gallery and several home interior shops. It is a great place to have a picnic and then spend some time browsing the shops and just relaxing in the park.

St. Michael's Church is located 3 miles from downtown Woodstock. Cross the railroad tracks by the park and continue down Arnold Mill Road. The Church and Rectory are on the right and sit on 35 acres of wooded land. If you are traveling from Roswell on Highway 92, turn right at the intersection of Highway 92 and Trickum Road. Continue down Trickum road for 2 1/4 miles and the Church will be on your left.
