St. Michaels Catholic Church at Corner of W. High St. and Antwerp Dr., Hicksville, OH 43526 US - Serving Our Church

Serving Our Church
Welcome to St. Michael's We as a Catholic Community of St. Michael's Hicksville stand as a wtness to another kingdom, a kingdom of justice, love, and peace, and it has been inaugurated by Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We beleive Christ to be alive and dwelling in our midst through the power of the Holy Spirit's inspiration we are able to walk by faith and not by sight. Though confronted by sickness, difficulties, suffering, and tragedies, we beleive that in these, our earthen vessels, we possess an overcoming power that will give us ultimate victory on the coming day of the Lord. We are called to bind up the wounds of the hurting, to reach out to the dispossessed, to reconcile those alienated, and to love one another as Christ has loved us. Though we are many persons at St. Michael's, yet we are one body. We all have been given personal gifts by God which we can use for the service of our brothers and sisters. We seek to reach out beyond our own faith denomination to share God's love and goodness with other beleivers of other faith communities. We draw our strength from Holy Scriptures and the testimony handed on to us. We find comfort, solace, peace, and direction in our prayers. Our sacrements nourish us Spiritually, and in particular, the Holy Eucharist is our "Song of Thanksgiving". The family is the domestic church, and s we want to up build family life in our society. We want to pass on our faith to our young people. We respect life. Fr. Tom Oedy Pastor
