JOSEPH'S CHURCH, COOPERSVILLE, WE ARE NOW IN THE PLANNING STAGES FOR THE BENEFIT DINNER FOR ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH IN COOPERSVILLE. THE EVENT IS PLANNED FOR SUNDAY, MAY6,2007 FROM 12 NOON UNTIL 2 PM UNTIL ALL ARE SERVED. AT THE K OF C HALL IN CHAMPLAIN. WE WILL ALSO HAVE A RAFFLE WITH ITEMS DONATED FROM OUR LOCAL MERCHANTS AND PARISHIONERS. THESE TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE NEXT WEEK. AT THIS TIME, WE ARE ACCEPTING MONETARY DONATIONS WHICH CAN BE USED TO OFFSET THE EXPENSES OF THE DINNER. PLEASE CANTACT THE RECTORY 297-7361 OR DROP YOUR DONATION ENVELOPE IN THE COLLECTION BASKET. St. Joseph's Cemetery Reminder: Flowers, flags, etc. will be permitted on the grounds only on Memorial Day and must be removed by the third day after the holiday. The rest of the year they will be permitted only on the monuments and out of the way for mowing the grass and can get caught in the mower and cause damage to the mover or injury to the person doing the mowing. If they are placed in the ground, we will remove them and place them in a bag to be picked up by the owner. We would appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
