Yes, there is a minimal fee which helps the Tribunal to meet its operating expenses. The fee is approximately one-quarter of the actual cost of processing a case. Arrangements for the fee are made through the parish through which a case is submitted. The priests and ministers who assist petitioners in our diocese do not charge a fee for their services. Please note, however, that at no time should financial considerations discourage or stop any person from exercising the right to receive a just hearing from the Church. One's ability or inability to pay a fee in no way affects the progress or outcome of a request.
