The Adult Youth Ministry Leadership Team consists of committed adults who help provide the vision, direction, planning and implementation of the youth ministry program at St. Paul Catholic Church.

The Leadership Team has the following critical tasks:

·         Handle the planning, implementation and evaluation of the designed program.

·         Foster the involvement of young people in the life of the parish, including serving on various parish committees and being involved in parish activities.

Members of the Adult Youth Ministry Leadership Team are responsible for:

·         Attending the Youth Ministry Leadership Team meetings and training.

·         Completing all of diocesan mandated requirements for volunteering to work with youth.

·         Helping the members of Youth Ministry Teen leadership team plan and lead youth group meetings, service events and community building activities.

·         Helping to ensure a safe environment at all youth ministry activities.

·         Providing support for being present at youth ministry programs and activities when possible.

·         Building a sense of faith community among the Leadership Team and among all the young people involved at St. Paul Catholic Church.

Members of the Adult Youth Ministry Leadership Team must exhibit the following qualities:

·         Must be an active, practicing Catholic

·         Clear criminal record

·         Maturity

·         Leadership

·        ablity to help guide and influence the direction of the program

·         Enthusiastic

·         Preparedness

·         Fresh Ideas

·         Inclusive

·        A good example

·         Energetic and able to relate to today's high school youth in a non-judgemental fashion

Term: Adult Youth Ministry Leadership Team members serve from July 1 to the following June 31 and the term is renewable.
