Youth Ministry at 111 N. Howell St., Owosso, MI 48867 US - What IS Youth Ministry, and What's It Doing at St Paul?

The goals of Youth Ministry are to: 1) Empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today. 2) Draw young people to responsible participation in the LIFE, MISSION and WORK of the faith community 3) Foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person. These goals are achieved through various components: Advocacy, Catechesis, Community Life, Evangelization, Justice and Service, Leadership Development, Pastoral Care and Prayer & Worship. We strive to include as many of these components as possible in everything we do. Which means, what, exactly? In order to take care of youth through these components, we offer all sorts of different activities such as lock-ins, pizza parties, reconciliation services, NCYC, youth ministry liturgies, Habitat for Humanity, workcamp, camps, retreats, World Youth Day. I could go on here, but then you wouldn't look at the rest of the site, would you?
