Friday, November 29, 2002 Name = Mrs. DGama Prayer Request = Please pray for my husband, Robinson and me and our marriage. To make his nephew’s bright future and whom he calls his son and does not want him to know who his real father is has harassed me very badly over the past few months. He did not make any mention of this before marriage but only said his brother’s son would be there, as his parents cannot afford. Just because I said that it is his brother’s son he hit me very badly. He is forcing me to adopt the child only then he will like/love me. He ill-treated me in his nephew’s presence and made him fill wanted and me unwanted. He criticized and condemned me to the dirtiest extent and spoilt my character and image that I maintained for years only because of his nephew. Its not even a year and we are not together. Ever since he hit me on 9th August I am at my sister’s place. He came to pick me up but with conditions of adoptions and that he would introduce his nephew as his son, if we have children his nephew would be the elder son. I told him I did not mind his helping his brother or his children but here my husband has crossed his limits. I did the best I could as a wife to him but I cannot take care of his nephews as his parents are living and they are in a position to look after their children only some guidance and financial support needs to be given. The religious and the lay from prayer group, CFC tried to tell him that after marriage it is his wife who important and comes first in his life. He is so rigid and adamant that he did not listen to anybody inspite of their telling so much. He even insulted them saying they are supporting me. He saving are for his nephew, house also he says he will make a will. We use to have arguments as I asked him why he did not tell me all this before marriage, I would not marry him. At the moment, I have lost interest, peace of mind, I am in a very bad mental state. I always prayed and wished for a holy family like Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I do not want the marriage to break and the devil to be victorious. Please pray that he may recall the vows and the commitment he made in the presence of the lord. And that the lord may touch his heart and thoughts. He can always support his brother and his children but not to that extent that he is made a mess of my life. Please pray that his nephew unites with his father Royson and mother Ruby and his brother and sister. I really love Robinson and do not want a separation. During the last meeting he said he does not even want to spit on me. And that there will not be any phone calls to anyone. 22nd December is supposed to be our 1st wedding anniversary, I am praying that got may touch his mind and give him wisdom. Please pray that we two may be together again for our anniversary and celebrate Christmas together. I used to be very enthusiastic during this time getting ready for Christmas, as of now I am in no mood of Christmas My Mother in law is happy about this break. Please also pray that I may be firm in my faith as my faith is deteriorating as nothing seems to be happening. Please pray for restoration of our marriage. I would love to receive a call from my husband that god may put in his mind to call me. Please pray that god may touch his rigid mind. I am in a bad state of mind. I can’t just image this could happen to me. I have lost interest in everything. I with the help of lay, CFC and priest tried to convince him but have not been successful. I also did 40 days fast to which matters have become even worse. Praise God. Alleluia

He's Catholic and he was married in Catholic rites. However, he had not been practicing his faith for a long time. After meeting me, he claims that I have brought back his faith. During summer his kids stay with us and we go to hear mass.I am a little troubled that I am not doing my duty to explain the faith to them, to discuss the bible, etc. However we make it a point to say grace before dinner. His ex wife had been mad at him, embittered. I don't know if there will come a time when we can marry in church. Anyway, my prayer request is this. Please pray that God may give me a job soon so that I can help a lot of my relatives back in the Philippines. Thanks, Father.

I have been suffering with the devastation of a broken home life due to alcoholism and abuse. Although he moved out in August, I still suffer from the abuse as we own a business together. It seems the more I pray for peace,the more cruel and mean spirited he is. I try to be professional at work. I pray when he is nasty and abusive. It is hard to maintain when he orders me to pay expense statements for his entertainment and dates. He has blocked legal action I have attempted for sale of the house and he literally runs from me when I ask to schedule a meeting to discuss these issues. It grows harder for me with the holidays coming as I hear him arranging parties and activities that I am not included but will end up paying for. Please pray for Michael and for me.

He was a gentleman and I thank God for that otherwise it could have been a lot worse. I am married with 4 children and I was like this a lot before I became a Christian. I thought that it was all behind me. The worst thing is that this man was asking me for help as he is experiencing a personal crisis so I really let my Lord down as I could have gently evangelised. I apologised by text message as I did not want to make to big a thing of it as he stays with my brothers family. I wanted him to know that I feel that I let him down and so on. He has not acknowledged this. We were both very drunk so maybe he is embarrassed too. Please pray for me as I am so low at the moment and ashamed of myself. I cannot believe i have treated my Lord this way. I have not been to confession yet as I know my priest very well and I do not want to embarrass him so I am going to another priest. Many of us are in the desert living out of cars as we are sick in buildings and even destitute with these 'new illnesses' with supposedly no known cause. We are falling between the cracks with the chemical companies fighting that we exist and pesticide companies continuing to poison the public for profit. But we are just as invisible as the Gulf War Vets who have like symptoms. Please pray for me and others like me. We are growing in number daily. Please pray for safe affordable IMMEDIATE NON-TOXIC housing that will aid full healing from my long term chronic illnesses (MCS = Multiple Chemical Sensitivities CFS = Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, FMS = Fibromyalgia) from chemical injury from supposedly normal safe pesticides and formaldehyde and other poisons in new products during renovation of an office building, away from the violent where I live now due to low SSD income, FOR MY PROTECTION AND SAFETY where I fear them day and night, for THEIR conversions, where I can live totally for Jesus all my days, and for Jesus to bring me to holiness and service to Him and His Church. Tuesday, October 29, 2002 Name = Sandi Address = United States of America Prayer Request = My daughter Kathie just phoned and a young family friend was killed yesterday in a auto accident and burned to death. Her family is devastated. The Daughter and Mother had argued before parting. The Mother was the first on the scene and could not get out of her own car before the second was engulfed in flames too much to pull the Daughter out. When Kathie passed the accident a couple of hours later she did not know who the vehicle belonged to as it was so badly burned. As the area is mostly under water, that may have played a part in the accident. I have told Kathie to help them with their good-byes in letting them know that they still can talk to/with her. One of the things Mother is upset about.Younger siblings have been brought home from school for this, also. Daughter: Michelle Cole, about 26-27 years. Husband: Steve Cole Parents: Jan and Thomas Whatley Michelle's sisters. All from Cleveland Texas Also, Friday night while preparing their yard for the flooding, another of Kathie's friend's had a heart attack and died as his wife was helping him with the yard to keep things from floating away. I would like to tell you about a wonderful person I know named Regina Pearce, who is not only my neighbor, but my 8 year old friend. Regina is special in many ways. Some of you know her and for others, she is only described by my perhaps inadequate, yet no less sincere words. She is loving, kind, fun, smart, compassionate and beautiful in many ways. However, at the tender age of 8, Regina has to face a challenge that most her age do not. Regina has Perthes Disease, ( Click here: eMedicine - Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease : Article by Geofrey Nochimson, MD ), which is a condition that is not only painful, but also physically limiting. For the next 2-5 years, Regina will not be able to jump, run, ride a bike, or do anything that will further irritate her hip, in the hope that the blood circulation will increase and the bone will regenerate itself. By her own strength, I know she will meet the challenge head-on. But to help her along, I have an idea. On Sunday, May 11, Regina will be receiving the Holy Sacrament of Communion for the first time. On Saturday, May 10, at 7:00 PM, the night before, I am making a request. I am asking that you light a candle and say a prayer for Regina. It can be any length you wish. To make this prayer more powerful, I am sending this to all my e-mail friends and family and am asking for you to forward it to all of yours and them to all of theirs, etc, etc. Then on Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 PM, say the prayer for Regina. Dearest Friends, I received a worrisome news this afternoon, that my mom (Mother Lily) is currently in the ICU of FEU Hospital. My sister Naty told me that apparently she had a stroke and she had some complications. A tube is needed to be inserted to breath because of her difficulty in breathing, she had kidney failure and water were found in her lungs. She was taken into the ICU as early as 7:00 am. of April 23. She is reported to be under observation and still unconscious as of this moment. My brothers Cocok and Manuel are on their way to the hospital (Cocok is coming from Batangas, while Manuel from Samar). Fr. Anton and myself are so distant from the Philippines. I am so lost these days, as you all know, Bong had just lost his Beloved Mom. We are still waiting for him to come home from the Phils. (he went home for the funeral). To My Dear Friends and Relatives, As most of you know, I have been going thru extensive testing. In Jan. I was told that I had 2 simple cysts in my rt. ovary. Recently, I was told that it is a complex cyst (the more serious kind) and that the ovary has to be removed. Surgery is scheduled for Mon. May 13th. I have to go for another sonogram May 2nd. I am asking for you to please pray that the cyst is gone by the next sonogram or if I have to go thru this surgery that they can do it Laproscopically (thru the stomach) and that I do not suffer any side effects from the anesthesia. If they cannot do it this way due to previous scare tissue, I will have to be in the hospital a few days and the recuperation time is at least 1 month! I know I am in good hands (God's) and I'm sure you all know how much I believe in the power of prayer. So, please keep me in your prayers, as you are always in mine. Hi , Hopefully Siobhan sent you a message that my sister and her new baby need your prayers. My sister threw a pulomanery embolism in her lung. and is lucky to be alive. (my spelling is not good this morning.) The next night Emily was rushed to the hospital . She had major heart surgery on MON. from 8:00 to 5:00pm. They could not wean her from the heart and lung machine. She is currently on life support. Her little right ventricule is not pumping and her lungs aren't taking the full force of the blood . Her situation is not good. they will make two more attempts to wean her from life support .This sweet baby has been through so00 much and needs our prayers. My sister is recovering is on blood thinner. She needs an MRI , they found something on her liver. Please pass this request on and please put Emily on a prayer line. Hi, Its me again Francis, I hope I am not bothering you or what, but if I am just don't hessitate to let me know, I m sorry at the first place. Here in the Philippines, we are preparing for the Holy Week here, usually we don't eat meat every Friday beginning Ash Wednesday, it was a tradition my devout family follows. On the other note, the main reason for me writing is that I am asking for prayers again, I feel shy to ask for these but I guess with your prayers thing will get easier on my part. My intentions goes:; You know I did applied for medical school slot at one catholic university , but I was turn down becuase my score for the medical admission test was lower than there cutt-off rate, I did prayed hard for it and I believe I prefered quite well for it as well, but the results was heartbreaking.On April 14, I will have a second try to take again the test, pls. pray that these time I could prefer well and received a way much better grade compare to the previous one, I have also applied for another catholic med., school University of La Salle, I hope this time everything will turn out well., as I believe in the saying When God closses a door, he opens a bigger and wider door. On this holyweek here, did you know that beginning on Maundy Thursaday until Black Saturday, televisions and business usually goes off the air here, the and closes, so it is about a 3 days vacations. It usually for reflection for Christ passion but folks here uses it to go vacation and go to the beaches, my family and I will just be staying home, but my cousins will be coming over and they will go I guess to the province, I think that's is fine as long as we don't forget to reflect and pray for the essence of the Holy week, right. How about in your country, how do you do the easter thing, there? AS for me, I will be stopping looking over the net, and use these time to pray as well and definitely study, i hope you pray for me that I get the drive,motivation and better understanding when I am studying so that I can remember all that I study when the examinations comes, please also pry that I get lucky as well, its better that being intelligent right? I have advanced diabetes.I have heal and toe ulcers. My blood sugar stays between 200 to 300.I have been on several large doses of oral medicine (different kinds) for the last 5 years nothing brings my sugar down.I have steady slow weight gain I can not loose no matter how little I eat. I have neighbors that play that loud wall knocking, window shaking so called music off an on 24 hours a day.I can't afford to move. There is no noise ordinance.I am so stressed.I have huge medical and medicine bills.I also have high blood presure, breathing problems.I pray all the time,but It dosen't work. Please help me pray for my health and my neighbors to stop.These neighbors laugh at me and just get louder if I ask them to please stop.It is so bad on the weekends.
