Lord Jesus, You said, "I have come to set the captives free." We are captive and need your healing touch. Free us, Lord, from our addictions, so that we will be:
...free from the cares and worries that stifle our happiness;
...free from sins that cling to us, and to which we cling;
...free from all compulsive behavior that prevents us from becoming what you, Lord, have planned for us. Bring us, loving Savior, to the experience of abundant life which you promised. Amen.
O God, grant me to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the diffrence. Amen.
Lord Jesus, grant that my spouse and I may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another's weakness and grow from each other's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of itself.
May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year. Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection. Amen.
Let nothing disturb you,
Nothing frighten you.
All things are passing.
God never changes.
Patient endurance
attains all things.
Whoever possesses God
lacks nothing-
God alone is sufficient.
Christ be with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ where I lie,
Christ where I arise,
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in the eye that sees me,
Christ in the ear that hears me.
I asked God for strength, that I might achieve;
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that, I might do great things;
I was given sickness, that I might do better things.
I asked for riches, that I might be happy;
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.
I asked for power to have the praise of others;
I was given weakness, to feel the need for God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life;
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.
I receive nothing I asked for - but everything I hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayer was answered;
I am, among all people, most richly blessed.
Lord Jesus, teach me to be generous,
to serve You as You deserve:
to give without counting the cost,
to fight needless of the wounds,
to work and not seek for rest,
to toil and not seek for reward,
save the reward of knowing I am doing Your will. Amen.
Father, I abandon myself into Your hands;
Do with me whatever You will.
Wghatever You may do, I thank You.
I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only Your will be done in me,
And in all Your creatures.
I wish no more than this, O lord.
Into Your hands I commend my spirit;
I offer it to You, Lord, and so need to give myself,
to surrender myself into Your hands,
Without reserve and with boundless confidence,
For You are my Father. Amen.
I am loved by God;
I am made by God;
I am forgiven by God;
I am accepted by God unconditionally;
I am a child of God;
I am sustained by God;
I am important to God;
I am used by God;
I am enabled by God;
I am destined for God. Amen.
O Jesus, who on earth commanded and practiced a hidden life, grant that in these our days of pride and outward display the example of your servant John Neumann may lead us to follow your humble ways. Grant, O Lord, that like your holy bishop we may do all our works with the pure intention of pleasing You, and let not our deeds be done to win the favor of others but to give glory to our Father in heaven.
WE thank you that our fellow citizen and devoted missionary bishop is recognized among the saints of Your Church in Heaven, and we beseech You, O Lord, to glorify him on earth by granting the favors we ask through his intercession. Amen.
O God, Thou art the object of my love,
not for the hope of endless joy above,
Nor for the fear of endless pain below
which those who love Thee not must undergo.
For me and such as me, Thou once didst bear
the shameful cross, the nails, the spear.
A thorny crown transpierced Thy sacred brow,
what bloody sweat from every member flowed.
Such then was - is - Thy love for me.
Such is - and shall be still - my love for Thee.
Amen.
Dear God. I spend so much time reliving yesterday or
anticipating tomorrow that I lose sight of the only time
that is really mine - the present moment. You give >br> today one moment at a time. That's all I have -
all I ever will have.
Give the faith which knows that each moment contains
exactly what is best for me. Give the hope which trusts
You enough to forget past failings and future trials.
Give the love which makes each moment an anticipation of
eternity with You. We ask this in the name of Jesus who is
the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.
Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we your children kindness to us. We bless You for creating us and preserving
us in life. Above all, we bless you for the bountiful love
You have shown the world in sending Your only-begotten Son,
Jesus Christ, that we might not perish but have eternal life.
We thank You for the teaching of His Gospel; for the power
of His Cross; for the sacramental signs of His grace in the
present life; and for the sure hope of eternal life with Him.
In Jesus' name and for His sake, we ask You, dear Father,
send Your Holy Spirit upon us to give us due appreciation
of all Your mercies so that our hearts may truly be thankful.
Grant that Your praises may be ever upon our lips and
in our lives. May we give ourselves to Your service in
serving others and walk before humbly and gratefully all
our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Forgive my sins, O Lord, forgive me all my sins,
the sins of my age, the sins of my spirit,
the sins of my body, my sins of omission,
my serious sins, the sins I remember,
the sins I have concealed so long that
they are now hidden from my memory.
Forgive me all my sins, O Lord.
I am sincerely sorry for them all.
I know my sins have wounded your
loving Heart, my Savior.
Through Your bitter suffering and death,
free me from the power of sin and
give me a new heart. O my Jesus,
forget what I have been. O my Lord,
Jesus, remember me in Your Kingdom. Amen.
God, our Father, I thank you for the gift of
my children and for the privilege and responsibility
of being a parent, for this is my way of holiness.
May I regard each of my children as a sacred pledge
of Your love and a beautiful sign of Your confidence in me.
Help me to pass on to my children our greatest treasures -
faith in Your truths, hope in Your goodness,
love in Your name for all.
I entrust my children to Your loving care.
Banish from our home any bitterness or lack of forgiveness.
Let us have time, deep concern, and a sense of
sacrifice for one another. Teach us never to be ashamed
that we are , in name and in fact, a Catholic family
striving to live in the way of Jesus,
Who is head of our home.
Give us Your Holy Spirit to unite us throughout
this life and let the circle of our family be
unbroken in the Kingdom of Your Son Jesus Christ,
our Lord. Amen.

Prayer
O God, who didst deign to elect Blessed Joseph
spouse of Thy most holy Mother: grant, we
beseech Thee, that we may have him whom we venerate
as our protector on earth as our intercessor in heaven.
Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.
My God, enable me to bear Thee, for Thou alone canst.
Cleanse my heart and mind from all that is past.
Wipe out clean all my recollections of evil.
Rid me from all languor, sickness, irritability, feebleness of soul.
Give me a true perception of things unseen,
and make me truly, practically, and in the details of my life,
prefer Thee to anything on earth, and the future world to the present.
Give me a true instinct determining between right and wrong,
humility in all things, and a tender, longing love for Thee.
Amen.
Dear Lord:
Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running through my head.
God bless my mom and dad,
And other family.
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do.
Hope you don't mind me asking,
Bless my computer too.
Now I know that it's not normal
To bless a mother board,
But listen just a second
While I explain to you my Lord.
You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds & ends
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my FRIENDS.
I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendship grew.
Please, take an extra minute
From your duties up above
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love!
Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each email inbox
God our Father,
on this Feast of Mary, the Mother of God
give us an appreciation
of the many gift you have given us
during the past year.
Help us bless you in return
during the coming year
by sharing some of our gifts with others
who have far, far less than we do.
Amen.
MY WEBRINGS:
The power of united prayer is a miracle. God has given me back the sunshine in my heart and soul. I want to thank you, and each one of you again, that took a few minutes of your precious time to pray for me. May god bless each one of you with the same daily improvement he has given me... --Anonymous
