November 7 & 8 Good afternoon/good morning. Today we celebrate Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time Welcome to our parish celebration of the Eucharist. Our opening song is # (Priest) As this liturgical year draws to an end, we give thanks to God, who values the gifts of the poor. Lord Jesus, helper of the needy. Lord have mercy. Christ Jesus, lover of the poor. Christ have mercy. Lord Jesus, bread of life. Lord have mercy. Priest: Knowing the Lord’s gracious love for us, we pray. For those who serve the poor in the Church...We pray to the Lord. For those who enact just laws...We pray to the Lord. For our RCIA program. We ask for your blessings on the candidates and instructors that their journey to be Catholics will be an enriched experience. For this and all our parish ministries...We pray to the Lord. That the veterans of past and present wars receive the good medical care owed them by a grateful nation...We pray to the Lord. For those who have placed their confidence in God...We pray to the Lord. (Pause for Father’s Intentions) then say... Reader: Father we thank you for our many blessings, and ask your help with these silent intentions. (Please do not say we pray to the Lord) (Priest) Bountiful God, you help all to seek your presence. Graciously touch us with your love through Christ, our Lord.
