November 21 & 22

Good afternoon/good morning. Today we celebrate Our Lord Jesus Christ the King

Welcome to our parish celebration of the Eucharist. Our opening song is #

(Priest) To Jesus, the Lamb, be the glory and the power now and forever.

Lord Jesus, we follow you, for you are the way. Lord, have mercy.

Christ Jesus, we believe you, for you are the truth. Christ, have mercy.

Lord Jesus, we receive you, for you are the life. Lord, have mercy.

Priest: Our Lord leads us to truth and justice. Let us follow him and present the needs of those who suffer.

For Christians around the world, especially lay ministers, that they remain faithful to the King of Peace...We pray to the Lord.

For the leaders of all nations and ethnic groups, that they accept the way of Jesus as their model...We pray to the Lord.

For the Knights of Columbus. We ask for your blessing as they continue to strengthen us with their adoration of the Eucharist and to fight against injustices...We pray to the Lord.

For the sick, especially those near death, that they may find healing in the redemptive suffering of Jesus...We pray to the Lord.

For the members of our community, that all be ready to see Christ when he comes in glory...We pray to the Lord.

(Pause for Father’s Intentions) then say...

Reader: Father we thank you for our many blessings, and ask your help with these silent intentions. (Please do not say we pray to the Lord)

(Priest) God, you are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Help us to follow you and to know your ways. We ask through your son and our brother, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
