Annunciation Child Care Center at 970 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 US - How Can You Help
| How Can You Help |
We invite our parents to partner with us to make the Center a loving environment and excellent learning experience for our children. Various ways to participate are discussed throughout the website, and we thought it helpful to list them here all together along with a few other notes. Volunteer Opportunities: As specific needs arise, be it baking for a bake sale or donations for an organization, these may be posted at the Center and also on the Home Page Announcements or here if discretion required. Encouragement: Your child’s papers and projects are kept in a file crate located in the front lobby or in his/her classroom. Please check this daily and take a few moments to discuss these projects with your child. Your encouragement and interest is very important in the learning process. If you would like to discuss your child’s progress with us, please call and make an appointment. You are welcome to observe your child in class at any time. T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More): We encourage you to join TEAM and participate in the fellowship and fundraising events planned throughout the year. Please click here for more information. Support Ongoing Fundraising Activities: There are some fundraising activities that occur throughout the year. Please click here for more information. Birthday Book Program: A beautiful gesture and legacy to the Center is to donate a book on your child's birthday. Please click here for more information. Family Fun Night: TEAM hosts a Family Fun Night towards the end of the school year in the May timeframe. It features an auction of donated products or services from the community. TEAM is always looking for donations for Family Fun Night's auction and sponsors for t-shirts and tote bags. We ask that you keep it in mind throughout the year and if you know of any opportunities, please contact the Child Care Center. Fingerprints Required: Note that anyone who will be volunteering with the children need to be fingerprinted. It is available free of charge for pre-school parents. Please contact the Center's directors, for more information or follow the links on our Home page to access the Diocese of Orlando for the process to be fingerprinted. We realize that we live in a hectic time where it seems we need more than 24 hours a day. We thank you in advance for whatever you can do.
