Tim and I would love your support as we help to raise money for The Save-A-Limb Fund. It was established in 2001 by the Sinai Hospital's Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics to fight to save limbs from amputation. It is an incredible foundation that helps to provide surgeries to those in need and continues to do research to advance the technology in limb lengthening.
We became involved recently as our oldest daughter, Emma, was born without a fibula. We were told by many specialists to amputate until we met Dr.s Standard and Herzenberg at Sinai Hospital. Emma just had her first surgery this April and is doing amazing. We couldn't be happier and fortunate that we did not go with the "standard of care" and amputate!!!
