            *** the forty day fast of Saint Philip the Apostle prepares the faithful for the celebration of the Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
   *** the fast is a time of increased fasting, prayer and almsgiving. we are challenged to freely share our time, talent and treasure.
   *** During this fast, it was the custom to observe a strict abstinence on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and a lesser abstinence on Tuesday and Thursday.
   *** This fast maybe observed voluntarily, partially, or in its entirety.

DIVINE LITURGY is celebrated weekly on Saturdays at 4:00 pm. During the summer at 5:00 pm.
