As an instrument for renewal in the Catholic Diocese of Belleville, the Cursillo Movement is a movement of the Church whose lay and religious members commit themselves to the strategy of the Movement and the Christian transformation of their environments. The Movement which the Cursillo attempts to develop is not something which subsists merely by the initiative of those who lead it. Rather it is a movement which is born, grows, and advances to the degree that those persons in the Movement allow themselves to be moved by the power of the Holy Spirit.
