Thank you Katie Emge for your service these past 3 years as treasurer for Cursillo in the Belleville Diocese. We all thank you for your dedication and diligence to the details of keeping the books and finances in order. I, Karen Hermes, am taking Katie’s place as treasurer. I began my Cursillo journey on Belleville Women’s #27 in February, 2006. This wonderful weekend has certainly given me a closer relationship with God. This was something that I was seeking and until I went on this weekend I wasn’t sure how to begin this journey of growing closer to God. My husband John and I have been married 29 years and we have 3 wonderful sons, Peter 27, Michael 25 and Mark 17. This summer our son Michael and Jen were married. We now welcome our first daughter-in-law. I am a Eucharistic minister in my parish, Sts. Peter & Paul in Waterloo and last year I had the privilege of being sponsor for a friend who went through RCIA. In addition to Cursillo, John & I are also involved in World Wide Marriage Encounter. Both of these ministries give us the opportunity to grow in our relationship with God and with each other. Karen Hermes, Treasurer
