The Community Service ministry encourages the parish to provide Christian service to those in need. Determines how the Tithe Fund is appropriated each month. Coordinates the Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets projects.
The chairperson is Joan Garten, 346-9913.
One ongoing activity is the monthly (3rd Thurs.) luncheon (Lunch Bunch) for those of our parish who are 55yrs+. The luncheon begins at noon with Mass and continues in the parish hall with good food and fellowship. The coordinator is Jane Roy, 768-0306 who also oversees the Bereavement Meal that is offered to the family of a deceased parishioner after a funeral.
