We thank God and Bishop Paul for his years of service to our diocese and ask God's favor in granting Bishop Paul more years of deserved retirement. +A note of thanks to those who made a special contribution toward the project of replacing the wash basins in the parish house and the new faucets in some of the sinks in church. Thank you and God reward you. +There is one person who works behind the scenes and makes many things happen well in church. Jean Kachel, our sacristan, is another volunteer who does so much for us. Jean is especially involved in weddings. Each wedding (and we have many) finds Jean investing many hours of her time. She makes the church part of the wedding a smooth path for every bridal couple, and takes a great load off the priests in the process. Thank you so much, Jean, from all of us, and especially wedding couples who find their day more joyful because of your presence. PLACE OF GRACE is in need of a reliable electric dryer.
