About Blessed Sacrament Parish...
We are Blessed Sacrament Parish. The pictures on this website tell you of the outside and inside of our church building. But the real "inside" of our church is the mystery of the dynamic living presence of our Lord and Savior - the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus Christ is really and truly substantially present in the Blessed Sacrament not only during Mass or Communion time but all the time, as long as the sacred elements remains. At Blessed Sacrament Parish, there are many opportunities to celebrate, visit and adore the greatest treasure of the Catholic Faith. Come Celebrate the Blessed Sacrament by participating in the Eucharist at daily Mass, school Masses, and on Sundays. Come Visit the Blessed Sacrament for grace and strength for daily living. Jesus welcomes you into his presence anytime of the day or night. His house, our parish church, is open 12-14 hours during the day so that you might visit with the Lord and He with you. The red lamp signifies that the Lord is really present. Come Adore the Blessed Sacrament during weekly scheduled hours of Exposition and Adoration. Come to special 24-hour and 40 Hour devotions. Jesus is visibly present under the appearance of the host in the monstrance. Eucharistic Adoration is really our foretaste of heaven, the presence of God fully revealed. It is by staying still, being quiet in the presence of the Lord while we look at Him and He looks at us, that we perceive what He wants from us. We put aside our own plans ot make way for His.
