Blessed Sacrament Catholic School at 394 E. Main St, Newark, OH 43055 US - Volunteer Program

In an effort to build a strong relationship among parents, teachers, and children and, to keep tuition at an affordable level, we require all parents of students attending Blessed Sacrament to give 35 hours of volunteer service for one child or 50 hours for multiple students. Our hope is that you will continue to be involved in your child's school beyond the minimum hours. This program is designed to help you by eliminating expenses that cause an increase in tuition. Ways to obtain volunteer hours will be decided by the school board, principal, and pastor. Some ways to earn hours are: bingo, Oktoberfest, cafeteria worker, classroom aide, library aide, office aide, playground prefect, substitute teacher and various other ways. It is the parents' responsibility to sign the volunteer worksheet to receive credit for hours worked.
