A research pilot and aerospace engineer, Giles often spends his work day heading off into the wild blue yonder aboard a T-38N Talon jet. Last weekend, the Taylor native and 1986 graduate of Cabrini High School in Allen Park was at the Thunder Over Michigan air show at Willow Run Airport, standing beside the plane he piloted for the show.
