The Diocese of Lexington Office of Religious Education is pleased to announce a new subsidy program designed to assist catechists who are pursuing certification and certified catechists who are working on their renewal of certification offset the cost of their participation in course offerings/seminars from the Catholic Distance University and the University of Dayton Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation. Requests will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis while funds are available. The Diocese will subsidize a UD VLCFF course participant (or his/her parish if applicable) $40 per course to offset the $80 per course cost. The Diocese will subsidize a CDU course/seminar participant (or her/his parish if applicable) $50 per course/seminar to reduce the overall course/seminar cost. The current cost of a continuing education course/seminar is $135.
