Preparation for Confirmation 2010
Attention All Confirmation Candidates
Please plan to attend an orientation session
Sunday, December 6 from 2:30 –3:30 PM
in the Community Center for some helpful
information as you embark on your journey of discovery about the adventure of
being a full member of the Catholic Church.
Confirmation Registration Forms are now past due for all young people seeking to prepare for the celebration of Confirmation next fall. These forms were distributed at the Parent Information Meeting in September.
Parents who were unable to attend the parent need to contact Sue Parker for information and forms for Confirmation Preparation.
Sponsor Reference Forms are due December 1st.
These are required from all sponsors who are not members of St. Jude.
All youth of the parish 12 years or older and in the
8th grade or above are eligible for Confirmation in our Diocese.
Please contact Sue Parker for more information about
registering to prepare for Confirmation next fall.
Confirmation at St. Jude is celebrated in the fall. The sacrament is available to all baptized members of the parish who are at least 12 years old or older and have completed 6
th grade. Preparation for Confirmation begins in September for celebration of the sacrament in the next calendar year in October. If a person in your family qualifies according to the age guidelines, please indicate their interest in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in the appropriate box on the Religious Formation registration form.
Adults who are not confirmed are asked to contact Jack Armstrong at 669-8341 ext. 25.
Preparation for Confirmation begins in September with a Parent Meeting and concludes with celebration of the sacrament the following October.
