For adults interested in learning more about becoming Catholic, the Church provides a process called The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
· This process is designed for those with little or no experience of the Christian Faith as well as for those who have experienced other faith traditions.
· The process includes an exploration of Catholicism through scripture study, faith sharing, discussion, discernment, and celebration of rites.
· The weekly sessions provide preparation for the
celebration of the sacraments of Baptism,
Confirmation and Eucharist, for those interested.
· Interested individuals can attendBecoming Catholic sessions at any time during the year.
· Celebration of the Rite of Acceptance occurs when each adult is ready to proceed toward becoming a Catholic. For further information please contact Jack Armstrong at 669-8341 ext.25.
Sessions begin Sunday, September 20 at 9:35AM in the adult/youth room in the
Community Center.
