At the annual executive board meeting on August 16, 2012, Catholic Charities, Diocese of St. Petersburg, Inc., presented three Angel Awards and one special Young Adult Service Award. Each year, Catholic Charities selects organizations and individuals that contributed over and above the call of duty with their generosity and efforts in offering assistance on behalf of Catholic Charities. For the 2012 year, Catholic Charities selected the Pinellas Village Board of Directors, St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo, and Lynne Hensley to receive Angel Awards. Catholic Charities selected local high school student Adam Miller to receive a special Young Adult Service Award. Read more...
