Evangelistic in nature, the Catholic Charismatic Renewal seeks to encourage spiritual growth and renewal for individuals, parishes and communities. Each of us is invited to deepen our personal relationship with Jesus. For Catholics this "Baptism in the Holy Spirit" further unwraps the gifts and graces received in the sacraments. Services include English and Spanish speaking prayer groups, conferences, retreats, workshops, quarterly newsletter, Archdiocesan prayer group directory and resource center.
Our Organization's History
Catholic Charismatic Prayer groups began meeting in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in the late 60's.The first prayer groups met at St. Benedict's Abbey in Benet Lake and at the Jack & Karen Swanson home,Oconomowoc "Living Waters".
