St. Christopher Parish at 435 E National Rd, Vandalia, OH 45377 US - Worship

The purpose of the Worship Commission is to enter into the liturgical life of the parish community in such a way as to give the members of the community the greatest opportunity to worship God. In addition, it implements the liturgical guidelines and regulations of the Archdiocesan Worship Office and the universal Church.

To accomplish its purposes, the Commission:

Provides opportunities for growth in liturgical understanding to members of the Commission and the parish community.

Advises the pastor on liturgical matters with the understanding that the recommendations and policies will be considered by the pastor.

Provides educational opportunities which encourage excellence and participation in the liturgical ministries.

Participates in the seasonal planning of liturgies.

Understands and responds to the parish community's liturgical needs and desires.

Evaluates the quality of liturgy in the parish.

Reports and seeks advice from the Pastoral Council through the Worship Commission's representative to the council.
