The St. Christopher Youth Ministry invites all parish young people to be actively involved in the life of the parish, especially in the areas of liturgy, catechesis, service and community building. Youth Ministry offers the chance to grow in love for Christ and share Christ’s service to others. Young people create friendships, develop leadership skills and nurture the value of striving to follow Jesus’ example. Some Youth Ministry programs include:
Catechesis
- Religious Education Sessions (RE) are offered throughout the school year.
- Each session combines creative interactive learning, small group sharing and prayer led by a team of adult volunteers.
- Youth attend sessions per grade for 7th-12th graders.
- Sessions are from 7:00pm-8:30pm on selected Sunday evenings.
- Confirmation is available to all youth in grade 10 or older and includes a preparation program.
