Campbell's Communication Happy Thanksgiving. May each and every one of you have a very blessed holiday. I really can not believe we are entering the Christmas season. This year has gone so fast. Our days go so quickly. The children are working so hard and learning so much. They are so much fun to be with. We will be starting cursive writing when we get back from Thanksgiving break. Please help your child practice each letter as we introduce them. I know they want to jump ahead, but please tell them to work only on the letters we do each day. We will start with t, l, e, u, i and w. We will be working on Christmas customs in Social Studies. Please help your child think of some of the things you may do every year. Also, remind them about their goals we set for reading. I know January seems so far away, but they need to be reading and testing everyday. We will be watching a movie and having popcorn on Tuesday. I had promised the children when we had 100 100%s on their spelling tests, we could do this. Guess what? We are at 118 right now. I may have to have another one of these in the spring. They really are all such good spellers. Mrs. Lakes and I will be selling Christmas trees on December 2. If you have a chance, come out and see us.

Recess will be 9:30 every day for 15 minutes. This may change now and then. If it is raining or too cold, we will not go out, but have recess in the room. I have changed this time because we were running into many other classes at the later times.
As I think of things, I will add to this website. Again, be sure to check this every so often. I will try to keep it updated every week for you.
