Dear Parents,
We will not have a Spelling lesson this week, due to the Thanksgiving break. The children worked very hard to finish their weekly work and they thoroughly enjoyed our activities on Friday. It seemed to be a very large motivator to complete their work. We will try it again during the month of December.
We will begin cursive writing very soon. Please have your child practice ONLY the letters that we have learned. It is very hard to change incorrect letter formation once they practice it. Thanks!

MATH-We are finishing graphs and surveys.
READING-We will be working on our Accelerated Reader books this week.
PHONICS- We will continue working on long vowels.
SPELLING-We will not have a Spelling lesson this week.
GRAMMAR AND WRITING-We will finish our "Turkey Stories."
SCIENCE-We are will finish our unit on "Matter."
