Weeks of November 9th, 16th, and 23rd

Week of November 9th:
Monday students will be reviewing for their Chapter 4 Test on Tuesday.   They will start Chapter 5: Factoring on Wednesday and will cover sections 5-1 through 5-3 by the end of the week.

Week of November 16th:
Students will finish the first half of Chapter 5 Monday through Wednesday by covering lessons 5-4 through 5-6.  Thursday and Friday will be spent reviewing for their quiz the following week.

Week of November 23rd:
Students will take their Chapter 5 Quiz over sections 5-1 to 5-6 on either Monday or Tuesday.

Class description/goal:

This class will give students a College-Prep Algebra high school credit. I will start out teaching this class identically to Honors Algebra and ease up only when I see it becoming necessary, which is usually towards the end of first quarter. Typically these students take one of three math classes their freshman year: repeat C-P alg, move on to C-P geometry, or take Honors Alg.
