Many students often tell me that they do not know how to study for a math test.  Below are four good ways a student can prepare themselves.
1)  Actually read the lessons in the book.  They explain concepts well and show step-by-step example problems.
2)  Read the notes taken in class from each lesson (which should all be neatly organized in their math binders).
3)  Go over the homework from each section and redo some of the problems.
4)  Have a friend, parent, or sibling make up a short quiz to test what the student does or does not have mastered.
