Welcome to 4th Grade! |
August 24,2009 Dear Parent/Guardian, I am looking forward to providing an interesting and successful learning experience for your child. I enjoy teaching children and helping them develop a love for learning. I would like to begin by saying a word about my emphasis on academics. This year I will be teaching Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I will expect the very best effort from your child. If you will support and cooperate with me, we can insure that your child will have a successful learning experience in the fourth grade. I place a great deal of importance on helping young people learn to respect themselves and to treat others with respect and kindness. I will not permit other children to spoil your child's chance to learn. Nor will I permit your child to interfere with the learning of others. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at school and leave a voice mail message. The number is 293-9452, ext. 250. I will return your call as soon as possible. You may also contact me through my school e-mail account listed below. However, due to the fact that our e-mail is not always reliable, if you do not hear I am looking forward to a great year with your child.
