Mrs. Darr's homeroom students are continuing their study of nouns and have written their rough drafts of their fall Haiku poems.  Mrs. Armstrong's homeroom has published their Haiku poems and are starting their unit on nouns. 

 All the students enjoyed learning about the literary device alliteration and writing about the Halloween holiday.

Please encourage your child to use a capital letter at the beginning of every sentence and some punctuation at the end of every sentence.  This needs to be something they do automatically.

Language arts grades will come from assignments, tests, and writing projects.  We will alternate grammar and writing lessons,
