On this link you can find activities to practice your Spelling/Vocabulary unit words and their meanings. Remember that we are working in the LEVEL A book, so click on Level A and then on the unit we are currently working with. Author Communication On this website you might find addresses to write to authors whose work you enjoy. Have fun sharing what you like about your favorite authors' creative works! Make sure you share with me any communications you receive from authors. I would be very interested in knowing what you write and what the authors' responses are! Grammar Blast Practice grammar skills and receive immediate feedback in some areas of grammar that we study in Language Arts. Ohio Treasure Chest The Ohio Treasure Chest website can be helpful to learn new concepts and to review skills covered in Language Arts classes. There are also practice activities and games to reinforce these skills. Click on "Language Arts - Reading" or "Language Arts - Writing" to access this information, and then go to "Grade 6" to see what is covered during the sixth grade year. |
