Welcome to Our Website
We are the Consolation of Christ Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order. We are a religious order that lives apart but in fraternity. This ongoing fraternal life includes but is not limited to, daily readings of the Gospel, living of The Rule of the Secular Franciscan Order, praying the Liturgy of Hours, having a personal spiritual director, a personal confessor, special devotions, personal prayer life, attending Mass, receiving the sacraments, and monthly Fraternity gatherings. The Brother or Sister who follows and lives this life enhances the lives of all around them. Paraphrasing St. Francis of Assisi, they preach the Gospel by living it.
