Services of Extern Priest(s)/Deacon(s) Religious and Laity in Diocese of Covington

Request for permission for accepting the services of an extern for specific services within the Diocese of Covington

Process:

1.  Complete the form for requesting services of person and send it to the Chancery.  This needs to be done well in advance of the date for service. Chancery will determine status of minister/speaker and inform the requester if clearance is given.

2.  Complete the Short Term Request Form and send it to the Chancery.

The Chancery will contact the appropriate authorities to determine the status of the minister/speaker.  You will receive a letter from the Chancery of the Diocese of Covington stating whether or not Bishop Foys has granted permission to accept the services of the person for the specified service.
