In response to persons suffering the loss of a spouse, the Diocese of Covington offers the support of a faith-based community through New Beginnings Ministry. New Beginnings provides opportunities for healing and personal on-going growth to anyone experiencing critical life changes occurring within themselves and among family members. In both formal and informal group settings, individuals going through grief due to the loss of a spouse can find others who identify with their pain thus realizing that they are not alone in their struggles. They can find strength to continue on as a part of a sharing community and find new meaning for their lives.
