The Light of Christ emblem (grades 1-2) encourages Tiger Cubs and Wolf Cubs Scouts to develop a personal relationship with Jesus. With active participation of the parent(s), Scouts come to see Jesus as a real person and friend. Full requirements are available from the National Catholic Committee on Scouting. The Parvuli Dei emblem (grades 3-5) is designed to help Bear and Webelos Cub Scouts become more aware of God's presence in their daily lives, especially in their homes and communities. The program is performed with the assistance of the Scout's parent(s). Full requirements are available from the National Catholic Committee on Scouting . The Ad Altare Dei emblem (grades 7-12) assists Boy Scouts of the Latin Rite to develop a fully Christian way of life in their faith communities. The program is organized in steps based on the seven sacraments. These sacraments are a primary means toward spiritual growth. Scouts are assisted in this program by an approved religious emblems counselor. Full requirements are available from the National Catholic Committee on Scouting. The Pope Pius XII emblem (grade 9-college) is for Boy Scouts and Explorers. Working through the program, the Scout learns about Church-related ministries and vocations - avenues through which baptized persons commit themselves to serve humanity in obedience to God's call within our Catholic faith community. Boy Scouts and Explorers are assisted by an approved religious emblems counselor. Full requirements are available from the National Catholic Committee on Scouting. The Saint George Award is a recognition given by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting through local ordinary. It is presented to those adults who have made a significant contribution to the spiritual development of Catholic youth involved in the Scouting program. For ages 7-9, who are enrolled in Girl Scouts as Brownies in 2nd and 3rd grades. This workbook was developed to help girls, as members of their family and parish, explore a wide range if activities to discover the presence of God in their daily lives. For ages 9-11, is designed to help girls appreciate more deeply the place of God and faith in their lives. The activities focus on developing awareness within the girls about their potential as a growing person, a friend, a family member, a citizen and member of the faith community. For girls ages 12-15, who are willing to learn more about Mary as a model of openness and prayer. The program is helpful in developing in the girls a Christian spirit of hope and faith. For young women in high school registered in the senior level of Girl Scouts. This program assists them in discovering how the Holy Spirit moves in their lives, calling them to greater participation in the Church's ministry through a program of research, dialogue and activities. The Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton recognition was inaugurated in 1980 to recognize the meritorious contributions of adults who serve Catholic youth through girls' organizations. It will ordinarily be received before the Saint Anne Medal is earned, but is not a requirement for reception of the Saint Anne Medal. The Saint Anne Medal is the highest national recognition for adults who serve Catholic youth through girls' organizations. The award was inaugurated in 1957.
