Daughters of Isabella O'Reilly Circle 218 at 1375 Franklin, Edwardsville, IL 62025 US - 2007 State Convention

The State Convention was held at the King's House of Retreat in Henry Illinois on April 12-14. About 20 Circles were represented by 60 members. Mrs. Susan Suchy, International Director from Michigan represented the Interntional Regent. An opening Mass was celebrated by State Chaplain Rev. James P. Keating on Friday and a Memorial Mass was held on Saturday with the names of our deceased called out in remembrance. Business meetings were productive. A Baby Shower was held for Esther House in the Peoria Diocese. Gift Baskets provided by each Circle were raffled off with the proceeds divided between the State Circle and Peoria Diocese Circles. Two beautiful quilts were donated to be raffled off. Winners were Bishop O'Connor Circle and Mrs. Erma Petroski of Msgr. DeGasperi Circle of Herrin Illinois. The next state meeting will be a workshop held at the Keller Convention Center in Effingham, Illinois.
