Daughters of Isabella O'Reilly Circle 218 at 1375 Franklin, Edwardsville, IL 62025 US - 2008 International Convention  O'Reilly Circle Receives Awards!

 The International Convention of the Daughters of Isabella was held in St. Louis Missouri in August of 2008. This is exciting news! Over 600 members from the United States and Canada participated in the four-day convention, which included spiritual and leadership workshops, business meetings, and social events.  Activities included a trip to Our Lady of Snows Shrine, a Western Night, baby shower items collected to be donationed to area shelters, a Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness, and a new history book of the Daughters of Isabella entitled "Daughters of Isabella - Our Legacy, our Future 1897-2007" now available for sale.

Two Illinois Circles received honors in the Award programs.  Pontiac Circle 122 and O'Reilly Circle 218 both earned participation awards in the Membership/Retention category.  However, our O'Reilly Circle 218 took top honors (First Place) in the Membership/Retention category.  Pontiac Circle 122 and O'Reilly Circle 218 also received top honors with the Cross & Crown Award. WAY TO GO!!  Needless to say, we are very pleased that we received these awards and are grateful to our circle's dedicated ladies that work together for the benefit of the order and to share our various God-given gifts/talents.  Thank you ladies!!
