The 2004 Medjugorje Conference

Tears were felt running down my face as Mirjana Soldo recreated the immense, wondrous joy of the heavenly visit of Our Most Blessed Mother. It was especially heart wrenching when she described the pain and sadness yet tremendous love when the vision of Our Lady of celestial beauty was gone. This is only part of the dynamic experiences of joy and emotion filling the hearts of those at the Medjugorje Conference the end of May.

Eight speakers electrified the four thousand people for two days. Colleen Willard who was diagnosed with fourteen serious ailments at Mayo Clinic was miraculously healed in Medjugorje. Vicka picked her out of a crowd and prayed while touching her head. Colleen walked away from her wheelchair she had been in due to searing pain throughout her entire body and Mayo Clinic later verified her total recovery.

Fr. Donald Calloway had a godless childhood and told stories of very wayward teen escapades including jail three times and being expelled from a foreign country. After reading a book on Medjugorje, he fell in love with Our Lady, and joined the Church. His road to the priesthood by an intense formation was filled with inner joy and excitement. His talk was very amusing and held everyone spellbound with fiery enthusiasm.
