Sts. Joachim and Anne had long awaited for a daughter. Their fervent prayers to God had been answered. St. Anne knew she was the most special child to bless any couple for all time. It was September 8 and the Blessed Virgin Mary had come into this world. The Almighty extended beyond all measure special favors, graces and knowledge to this infant child beyond the conception of any created mind. The Most High had infused knowledge of all things created. She was given many angels to guard her. The Holy Angels honored and acknowledged the most holy infant Mary as the future Mother of the Word and only they knew that their mistress was to be enthroned in the future at the right hand of her Son. The Most Blessed Mary, having been born on September 8, was fourteen years, six months and 17 days of age when the Angel Gabriel announced on March 25 to the Heavenly Mistress that she was to be the Mother of God. (These wonderful insights were revealed to Sister Mary of Agreda from 1627 to 1637 A.D. by the Most Blessed Virgin Mary and are in the book "The Mystical City of God.")
