- The hearing community recognizes and be aware that the deaf form an integral part of the large community in Christ and be open to the richness of their culture
- The deaf members be open to the richness of not just the hearing community but the entire Christian community and actively involved in/with her;
- And the community as institution be more receptive, sympathetic, generous and supportive in her provision of pastoral care and concern for this emerging sub-group or any other emerging disabled groups.
