Embryonic Stem Cell Issue |
In 2005, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) promised to take up H.R. 810, the House-passed embryonic stem cell bill. Sen. Frist is a supporter of the measure, and its Senate counterpart, S. 471, but wants the measure taken up only as part of a broader package of bills that includes both sides. Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) is insisting that H.R. 810 be debated and voted on now. However this process is sorted out, it is important that your two Senators hear from their pro-life constituents. See the updated stem cell Action Alert: nchla.org/actiondisplay.asp?ID=235.
