The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary.

Look down with maternal clemency, Most Blessed Virgin,
 upon all your children.
Consider the anxiety of bishops who fear that their flocks
will be tormented by a terrible storm of evils.
Heed the anguish of so many people, fathers and mothers of families
who are uncertain about their future and beset by hardships and cares.
Soothe the minds of those at war and inspire them with 'thoughts of peace.'
Through your intercession, may God, the avenger of injuries, turn to mercy.
May He give back to nations the tranquility they seek and
bring them to a lasting age of genuine prosperity.

~ Taken from "Christi Matri", Encyclical of Pope Paul VI, 9.1966

Please pray for Nancy who is in 4th stage liver disease and has been told by her doctor she has six month to live.  Please Jesus, bring her your healing.  She is a devout Christian and knows Jesus is with her through this and everything.  Thank you. ~ Linda

For the poor and the suffering, for the victims of injustice and exploitation, for the lonely and the desperate, that we may not only show them compassion but help them to lighten their burdens, we pray.

For the dying in their hour of struggle, that by his agony in the garden, the Lord Jesus may be their strength, we pray.
